Day 1: Beijing, Arrival
When your plane lands in the airport, your private tour guide will be waiting for you outside the international arrival hall. She/he will welcome you and sweep away all your uneasiness in a foreign country. Please look for your name and the Odynovo logo when you get out.

Day 2: Beijing, Forbidden City
Explore the city from Tiananmen Square, the emblem of the political center of modern China; followed by the Forbidden City, a royal palace complex which was once the seat of power in ancient China for over 500 years. Next, hop on a rickshaw to get through the narrow lanes lined with neat courtyards. In the hutongs, you will also visit a cricket trainer and immerse yourself in his stories about cricket fighting in the old days.

Day 3: Beijing, Great Wall
Drive 2 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall, where you will take a cable car to its top, do some moderate hikes to enjoy the surrounding scenery, and then get down by the exciting toboggan.
Afterward, drive back to the city to see the elegant Temple of Heaven, a holy place where the emperors prayed for a good harvest for their country each year.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
In the morning, go to see pandas at the panda house in Beijing Zoo, and have a visit the neighboring Summer Palace, a huge and exquisite royal garden where the royal families escaped the heat of summer. In the afternoon, a high-speed train (around 5 to 6 hours) will take you to Xi'an, where your tour guide and driver will receive you in the next few days.

Day 5: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors
The memorable day is for you to marvel at the legendary Terracotta Warriors, which has guarded China's first emperor, Qin Shihuang, for more than 2,000 years. Try to make a silent conversation with these lifelike soldiers, and they may tell you different stories through their facial expressions.
Later on, drive about 1 hour back to the city. En route, visit an underground cave dwelling, which was once the main residence on the Loess Plateau, and finally have a leisurely stroll on the hustle and bustling Muslim Street. Pick one or two snacks to satisfy your taste bud.

Day 6: Xi'an - Guilin
Experience the locals' life by visiting a local family, and learn how to make dumplings, hand-pulled noodles or other home-cooked dishes. If time permits, you can also go to a market to pick ingredients with the host and help your kids identify fruits and vegetables. In the afternoon, fly to Guilin and meet your next guide and driver.

Day 7: Guilin - Longsheng
Drive about 2.5 hours to the parking lot at the foot of Ping'an Village, where you need to hike around 40 minutes to your hotel in the village. After that, climb to the top of the hills along any of the two routes to enjoy the fantastic views of the terrace field at sunset. Finally, try your hand to make local bamboo tube rice.

Day 8: Longsheng - Guilin
Waken up by nature and enjoy the sunrise, and then take a light hike (about 1.5 hours) from Ping'an Village to Guzhuang, a more rustic village of Zhuang people. Before returning to Guilin, have a visit the Reed Flute Cave and a pearl store.

Day 9: Guilin - Yangshuo
Today, a cruise on Li River will treat you with a breathtaking scroll of Chinese landscape painting: towering karsts peaks, verdant bamboo groves, rice paddies and small villages dotted along the two banks of the river. Whether it is in a rainy or sunny day, the Li River always surprises you with different charms.
End your cruise in Yangshuo at around 1:30 pm, walk through the West Street and then you will be transferred to your hotel in Yangshuo for rest.
Optional: If you would still like more activities, the Impression of Liu Sanjie, a magnificent outdoor show against the natural backdrop of karst mountains, is highly recommended.

Day 10: Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai
Begin with a calligraphy class today, you can peek the essence of Chinese calligraphy culture through it. Try your hand on it! Next, ride a bicycle or take a private car to enjoy the idyllic countryside scenery before heading to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.

Day 11: Shanghai, the Bund
Spend this morning at the new Shanghai Natural History Museum, which is an interesting place for your kids to learn more about nature. In the afternoon, search for the clues of the old Shanghai from Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple to the Bund. Stop at a silk workshop, where you can see how small cocoons become elegant silk cloth as well find some great souvenirs for your families or friends. At the last night in China, you will watch a wonderful acrobatic show. It is too awesome to miss.

Day 12: Bye, Shanghai
Time to say goodbye. When you are ready, your guide and driver will take you to the airport for your return flight.
